The company shipped over eight million units of Netbook computers last year, a critical factor for it to surpass Quanta as the islands No. 1 contract manufacturer in the NB field last year.Among domestic top-five NB contract manufacturers, Regatron Corporation and Quanta were the early birds to deploy AIO computers. But the biggest winner went to Quanta as it beat Regatron to land AIO orders from Hewlett Packard and Austek last year. Quanta has also acquired the AIO orders from Apple Computer. Quanta said it shipped between 3.5 million and four million units of AIO computers last year.Another outstanding performer in the AIO computer arena went to TPV Technology Ltd., one of Taiwans leading manufacturers of monitors. With its advantage in monitors, TPV shipped over one million units of AIO computers last year. By cooperating with Inventec Corporation, TPV has resolved to heavily involve in the production and sales of AIO computers this year, becoming Quantas biggest rival competitor.
